It is often used as a companion plant to repel nematodes, asparagus beetles, tomato hornworms, and also rabbits 🐰

Naturally high in antioxidants, Calendula has been used medicinally for centuries for wounds, rashes, and infections. Its petals can be made into a tea that can soothe sore throats 🌻

They are an easy plant to start from seed, and germinates best at 70-75F (20-22C).

Although it is an annual, it often reseeds itself for blooms year after year.
